Welcome to the on-line residency application for Ilam Apartments

Prospective students of the University of Canterbury and other approved tertiary providers are eligible to apply for accommodation at Ilam Apartments.

Current students who wish to return next year will need to apply on line by going through the Current Residents portal above and clicking on the 'why not stay' button or come to any of the offices at either Ilam Apartments, Sonoda or University Hall and fill in a reapplication form. 

When applying we ask that you complete the application with as much detail as possible, ensuring that you complete the compulsory fields on the form. The application form will prompt you if you have missed a compulsory field.  This does not apply to returning students.

We anticipate that most applications will be for the coming year (2010). However if you would like to be considered for future years, please complete the same form, ensuring that you identify the year you are applying for.

If you are interested in booking short-term accommodation (available during December, January and February only) at Ilam Apartments please email us directly to make your enquiries.

All new residential applications for Ilam Apartments must be made online through the University of Canterbury website (see link below). Returning students apply through the reapplication tool on this website (see above) or come into the closest office at either Ilam Apartments, University Hall or Sonoda.
