Payment options
Ilam Apartment Residents will have the option of four different payment methods for their Agreement with UC Accommodation
- One full payment paid by Thursday 28th January 2010.
- Two equal sums paid before the start of each semester. The first payment is due on Thursday 28th January 2010 and the second payment is due on 17 June 2010.
- Four equal sums paid before the start of each term. The first payment is due on Thursday 28th January 2010, the second is due Thursday 8th April, the third payment is due on 17th June 2010 and the fourth payment is due Thursday 26th August 2010.
- Fortnightly payments (only available for 42 weeks contracts) made by Direct Debit from a New Zealand bank account, the first payment to commence on Thursday 28th January 2010.
At any time during your stay at the Village you will be able to access your account to keep an idea of what you have spent and what you owe. Do not get behind in your payments, but if you are experiencing difficulty in payments, advise us immediately.
After accepting an offer of accommodation at Ilam Apartments, you are required to sign a formal Residential Agreement with the Village. The agreement will set out in detail the arrangements for the occupation of a room in the Village and the rights and obligations of both you and the Village.

Residents are welcome to stay at Ilam Apartments longer than the contracted date and will receive an additional invoice for extra days incurred. This invoice will be at the same rate as the original agreement.
For those residents who are on a one semester study course (e.g. Study Abroad students) or those whose classes do not begin until the second semester, we have a special one semester contract for you.
