Our goal is to make Ilam Apartments your 'home away from home', offering as many experiences as possible to enhance your academic, personal and social well being. Ilam is a multi-cultural, residential community. Currently our community proudly boasts 45 nationalities and this multi-culturalism plus our diversity are something we embrace with open arms and are extremely proud of.

We have students from Europe, Asia, The Pacific, Africa, the USA, Scandinavia and of course New Zealand, to mention but a few! The flats are either 2,3,4,5 or 6 bedrooms and have the security and support of a caring community but offer the independence and flexibility of flatting. As a community which houses on average 45 nationalities and whose residents currently range from 18 to 50 and at all levels of their academic careers, the sharing of knowledge and cultures plus loads of fun are immeasurable.

Lifelong friendships are made between residents of all ages and nationalities (in 10 years we have had 21 marriages between residents!), the imparting of experiences, knowledge, cultures, religions and the sense of family are but a few of the areas which epitomise Ilam Apartments.

Recently Ilam Apartments was awarded a Qualmark rating. This rating is based on the industry standard for Student Accommodation and is independently assessed on an annual basis. We are happy to advise that
