University security patrols our sites regularly while overnight they make three rounds at various times to ensure everyone is kept safe. UC Accommodation Student Village also has security cameras placed at strategic points to monitor the premises.
UC Accommodation Student Village also has Evening Support Officers at University Hall, during key night periods, who offer pastoral care and support. These staff are current or ex-security officers and bring those skills to the role. They are connected to UC Security for immediate assistance if required. In addition to this, UC Accommodation Student Village has three Live-In Managers, one is always on duty but all three are available if an emergency arises.
