A Residential Adviser (RA) is always on hand to look after you, help organise social events, offer a friendly ear if you’re feeling a bit homesick. RAs are senior students selected for their personal and leadership qualities.
On call 24/7, the RAs are very approachable. They can be contacted by dialing 6669 from your room or +64 27 287 2038.
For emergencies there is a Community Manager who lives on site; the on-duty RA will contact them should they need to.
In addition to RAs, from your first day you will be placed in a key group. Your key group, led by a RA, becomes like your family while you are in the hall.
We put key groups together with care, and activities will be planned with your key group from day one. Membership of a key group can assist you to have a supportive, enjoyable, challenging and academically stimulating time.
