EATING

The way to a student’s heart is through their stomach

Cereals, jams, yoghurt, fruit salad, museli, porridge & a selection of breads …and that’s just breakfast at University Hall!

University Hall prides itself on well balanced and nutritious meals.

Our qualified Chefs work daily with fresh local produce to provide a varied and flavoursome range of dishes, with vegetarian choices at lunch and dinner.

Our Catering Manager is happy to liaise over special dietary needs (health, ethnic, religious, etc…) to ensure all your needs are met.

Special Meals

The size of University Hall allows for flexibility in all sorts of ways but there are limits:

Halal or kosher food can be bought in if we have six or more residents signing up, although we do not have separate facilities to prepare it and you will have to pay a little extra.

Medical related diets for intolerances are catered for, often in conjunction with Student Health and with parents.

Takeaway meals for those who are genuinely sick or have sporting committments by arrangement.

University Hall caters for student appetites. However we don’t provide special or extra meals to students with sports training requirements.

While the Catering Manager is happy to discuss meals with sports people, you should budget to provide for your extra needs.
