OTHER FACILITIES

University Hall really does have it all.

• Barbeques – we have two permanent barbeques with picnic tables.

• Computer connections are in each room. Residents decide whether to use the high speed access to the University system which needs an ethernet card and probably an RJ45 to BT adaptor and carries a connecting charge of $25 per term. Modems are unable to be connected.

• The Computer Workroom with 12 pc’s gives you easy access to University, in addition to the hundreds of pc’s on campus.

• Keys guard the safety of rooms and people, so do use them. The Canterbury Card gives swipe access to buildings for University Hall residents only. Keys for specialist areas are available at the office.

• Laundries are conveniently located throughout the complex, so there is no excuse to save up dirties till the trip home! Irons and dryers are also provided.

• Lounges – we have TV lounges and quiet lounges, all with fridges, microwaves and hot drink facilities.

The Office provides photocopying and faxing and a sewing machine can be borrowed from the Residential Assistant’s office.
