WELCOME TO UNIVERSITY HALL

A few quick points… (see your Resident’s Handbook for more information)

 After-hours assistance – extn 6669

 Alcohol Policy

  • “Dry Nights” = no alcohol to be consumed onsite. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are “dry”
  • No spirits, beer bottles or casks are allowed on site
  • No drinking games, funnels etc allowed onsite
  • Onsite drinking is permitted on Thurs + Fri from 7.30pm – 10.00pm, and Saturday from 7.30pm – 11.00 pm.

Computer Room

  • Located at the back of the dining hall. Swipe card access. Use University logins.

Dining Hall

  • See the information sheet attached to your notice board for meal times and further information
  • Please notify the kitchen staff of any dietary requirements ASAP
  • Remember you must present your swipe card to servery staff

Laundry

$1 coins only. $1 per wash/dryer cycle

Mail

  • To be collected from the cubbies in the office reception

Maintenance

  • Any maintenance issues can be reported online following the “fit-it request” instructions in the Resident Handbook

Noise policy

  • University Hall is ‘quiet’ from 10pm each night, and 11pm on Saturdays

Recycling

  • Recycling stations are situated around University Hall
  • Check out the recycling/tidying roster for your Key Group to see when you are on duty

O’Week

  • Lots of events have been planned both at University Hall and at UC. These are lots of fun so get involved!

We encourage all University Hall students to apply for residence in the Ilam Apartments for their 2nd and susequent years as it is a safer and in many cases cheaper option to flatting.
