SOCIAL LIFE
It is not all about education. Sometimes you need to let off steam and have some fun.
There is a wide range of events during the year starting with a casino evening, visits to Jade Stadium for One Day Cricket internationals and Super 14 Rugby and so on in Orientation week.
These events are designed to help you settle in, make friends and find your way around the campus and city. Those from overseas will start the baffling process of understanding Kiwi culture.
Later in the year Cupid flies in and creates Secret Admirers the week that all have the chance to be romantic and the most inspired are revealed at the Annual Hall Ball.
Many choose to buy old bangers for the Undie 500 race to Dunedin and if we feel nasty, University Hall will indulge in Secret Assassins week.
For the sporting fans we have our own in house competitions plus 10 events in the “friendly” rivalry for the Hall Sports Shield.
There are some specific rules around alcohol that are specific to UniHall
